Located in the community of Evergreen, Growing with Maggy Day Home offers a bright, carefully
designed learning environment filled with natural light, engaging activities, and age-appropriate
learning materials.
Children enjoy imaginative play, literacy experiences, creative arts, sensory
exploration, and opportunities to discover the world around them through child-led and educator-supported learning experiences.
Ana is passionate about creating a true “home away from home.” She believes children deserve nutritious food made with care, opportunities to be active, and an environment where they feel loved, respected, and encouraged every day.

Previous Child Care Experience
Prior to opening Growing with Maggy Day Home, Ana gained valuable experience working with (SASS) in Calgary, supporting children with diverse developmental and behavioural needs. This experience strengthened her understanding of inclusive childcare practices, child development, communication strategies, and the importance of creating supportive environments where every child can succeed. Through her work with children on the autism spectrum, Ana developed patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt learning experiences to meet individual needs, ensuring that all children feel welcomed, understood, and valued.
Healthy Nutrition & Homemade Meals
One of Ana Maria's greatest passions is healthy cooking and nutrition. She strongly believes that healthy eating habits developed during early childhood help support children's growth, learning, energy levels, and overall well-being. At Growing with Maggy Day Home, meals and snacks are thoughtfully planned and prepared from scratch whenever possible using fresh, high-quality ingredients. Ana takes pride in offering nutritious, balanced meals that introduce children to a variety of healthy foods while creating positive experiences around mealtimes.

Outdoor Play
Outdoor play is an important part of each day. Children have access to a large, secure, fully fenced backyard where they can develop gross motor skills, explore nature, build friendships, and enjoy active play in a safe environment. Daily outdoor experiences support healthy physical development and overall well-being.
The Basics
The health, safety, and well-being of every child are always a top priority. Maggy maintains current First Aid and CPR certification and meets all licensing requirements. Families can have peace of mind knowing their children are cared for in a safe, accountable, and professionally supported environment.
